Propogation has a story.  Don’t get me wrong, every company has a story, but there’s something special about this place.  Immediately when I first walked in, I noticed it’s simplicity.  This is a coffee shop.  The menu has slowly expanded since the grand opening back in March, but Propogation stays true to its roots.  It knows that at its heart, it’s a coffee shop.

It kind of became the unofficial spot to hang out for a lot of photographers and people in the wedding industry.  There’s just a lot of simple touches that tickle the mind.  It gets the creative juices flowing.  There’s a piano there and other cool little tidbits.  They’ve got an awesome soundtrack going on throughout the room in their sound system.  I was listening to the tunes of Radiohead before heading to the engagement session shortly after my last visit.  It’s got this sort of vibe that’s hard to put into words.

I will say that when I go in, I know that I’m supporting a local, blooming business.  I know that I’m helping them, and I know that I’m putting money into something that will help someone else.  Like most, I like to pay it forward.  I like to do little things to help others.  This is the type of place that someone like myself enjoys going to.  The one thing that I have against it is that it’s so far from my house.  I make sure that I stop by when I’m on that side of town though.  It helps that Propogation has good coffee and good people.

Like I said, I don’t know them that well.  I think they used to sell furniture before.  There was something unique there.  I don’t know the owners personally, but Brittany and Travis are downright good people.  I feel like it’s something that’s rare these days.  Someone so genuine is hard to come buy.  All I do know is that they are a happy family making a living doing what they love.  You can follow them on their Instagram and know their story.  They’ve come a long way.  They’ve seen many things and have touched many people’s lives.
