Lake Eola Engagement Session | Engagement | Rudy & Marta

Marta and I have been photographing weddings for quite awhile.  We have our engagement sessions as an integral part of our wedding experience.  The more we work with a couple, the higher the comfort level.  As a result, it works towards a stress free wedding and photography experience.  Similarly, this Lake Eola Engagement Session was just as important.

Every once in awhile, we’ll get into a situation where we haven’t worked in a certain location or wedding venue that’s popular with couples.  It’s just one of those things that just happens.  As a pair of Orlando Wedding Photographers, we go to numerous venues.  Some are new, while others are tried and true.  Lake Eola is one of those places that we never worked in.  Actually, we have worked there in the past.  In the past, we had photographed families and some portrait sessions there.  This was our first Lake Eola engagement session.  It was unique for us, but it quickly became one of our favorite engagement session locations.

As a photographer, we change.  We evolve.  Our eyes mature and we start to see the world differently as time passes on.  This was a great example of that.  We were able to take a place that we’ve been to before and see things from a different angle.  It helped make this Lake Eola engagement session more unique for us as well as the couple.  We walked around Lake Eola and talked about their wedding day.

I also took the opportunity to learn more about the couple and what they had in mind for their adventure together.  I learned a lot about them.  As a result, I learned what they want for their wedding images and what to expect on their wedding day.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience at Lake Eola.  We can’t wait for their wedding day.  It’s going to be awesome!
