Southern Hospitality | Peachtree House | Photography

Southern Hospitality isn’t seen as often as I’d like.  I’ve met plenty of people that live in the South that hasn’t really shown traditional Southern Hospitality.  In Puerto Rico, there’s a certain level of kindness and love that’s there when someone invited you into their home.  The same practice is seen all across the world in some form or fashion.  In the South, it’s different.  There’s a certain level of class and appreciation that goes into letting someone into your house.  Even if it’s something as little as having people over for coffee, there’s something precious about spending that time with someone.  There’s something special about breaking bread with the person.

“Southern Hospitality isn’t seen as often as I’d like.  I’ve met plenty of people that live in the South that hasn’t really shown traditional Southern Hospitality.”

I will say one thing.  I have been slacking on my macking.  What I mean by that is I haven’t really blogged anything for a while.  I’m not going to lie.  We’ve been very busy as of late.  I haven’t been able to blog as much. I’ve been simply going towards editing pictures and meeting up with people more than anything else.  I have to say that I have been able to spend a little more time doing what I truly love and have spent more time working on things.

When Ashlie asked Marta and I to join for the luncheon, I was so happy.  It was an opportunity to talk to people that are in the same industry.  It was an opportunity to take a second and appreciate everything that I have.  To appreciate everyone that’s around Marta and I.  We’re very fortunate to know the people that we know.  We’re very fortunate to have met the people that we have.

“The Southern Hospitality that Ashlie showed us that day was not only sincere and kind, but it was genuinely heartfelt.”

The Southern Hospitality that Ashlie showed us that day was not only sincere and kind, but it was genuinely heartfelt.  You could see all the love that was put into everything.  I think that’s the biggest thing.  There was attention to every single detail.  When I say this, I don’t just mean the decor, but also the food that was had.  The details were beautiful.  It was like a hidden dream.

All in all, it was a blast and I was happy to have been a part of it all and have the opportunity to catch up with old friends.
