Kraft Azalea Park was kind of a hidden place for me. I never really ventured out there to check out the area. Marta and I did an engagement session over there when we first started out. Our style was so different back then. We were still fresh and trying to find ourselves. Heck, we’re still trying to figure ourselves out, but we have a better idea of what we want to be as a business. We’ve been working with a company from Atlanta, GA called PostFilm and we have been blown away with where we’re heading. That’s all for another post though. We’ve been at it for about four years and we’ve carved out an idea of what we want to do and where we want to go.
“When our bride said that she wanted to get married in Kraft Azalea Park, we knew what we had to do to get great images.”
When our bride said that she wanted to get married in Kraft Azalea Park, we knew what we had to do to get great images. Alan was able to get some great video for his portfolio. Our experience with Stacy and Armand set us up. The elopement that was had that day was beautiful. Family flew in from Africa to see Yaphet publicly confess his love for Allison. It was a little muggy, but that’s Florida. It was hot. My glasses fogged up. In the middle of the ceremony I got some sweat in my eye. It was the best feeling in the world (see: sarcasm), but that didn’t phase me. My right eye did a fine job.
“Kraft Azalea Park has this knack of letting in as much light as possible during sunset.”
Marta was all over the place. Alan was finding angle that I couldn’t even think of. I almost fell into the bushes. Scratch that, I did fall into the bushes. It sucked, but after a quick chuckle we made it work. Kraft Azalea Park has this knack of letting in as much light as possible during sunset. There was this sense of…I don’t know how to describe it. Maybe I could call it emotion. Maybe I could call it love, but it felt whole.
The light that came in was perfect. There was humor in what they said. Allison recited her vows with confidence. I remember talking to Yaphet and his calm demeanor on the day. You could tell he had this. Maybe it was his surgeon thought process. You know, being calm and collected under pressure and what not. All in all it lead towards a beautiful ceremony and we were able to capture them as they were. It was gorgeous.
All three photographers at work before the ceremony at Kraft Azalea Park.
Love this shot of Kraft Azalea Park. The sunlight is just oozing through the trees.
