Marta and I met Leslie at a local bridal show. She was there with her Maid of Honor meeting wedding vendors and professionals. When they went to our booth, we talked about wedding inspiration and ideas. The scheduled a consultation with us and we were able to meet up and talk about their wedding over coffee. Leslie brought her Maid of Honor with her to help find out more information about Marta and me. We talked about having a more southern modern engagement session than anything else.
Planning for their Southern Modern Engagement Session
When it came down to talk about their engagement session, we mentioned several engagement session locations. One that seemed to always come back in conversation was their current hometown, Winter Garden. She loved the southern charm and personality of Downtown Winter Garden. It seemed almost natural to have their engagement session there. It was settled! Winter Garden would be the location of their engagement session.
Their Southern Modern Engagement Session in Action
Marta and I left Olie at my mom’s house while we were out photographing Leslie & Mike. We went all around Downtown Winter Garden. We were photographing them in the back streets and little corners of the streets. In the middle of the session, we all need a little pick me up. Leslie knew of a restaurant that had amazing truffle fries. Marta is a huge fan of truffle fries, so it was definitely a no brainer.
Luckily, it seemed like Leslie and Mike are regulars there. We headed over there and waited probably five minutes for the fries to hit the table. Quickly, we scarfed them down and continued the engagement session all the way to sunset. It was, without a doubt, one of our favorite engagement sessions to date. Most of all, we can’t wait for their wedding day at Dubsdread. Check out their engagement pictures below and let us know what you think in the comments!
