Bramble Tree Estate Wedding | Stephanie and Andrew

We have had this Bramble Tree Estate Wedding in the back of our minds since December 2015. Every once in awhile, we’d reach out to this amazing couple and talk to them about their wedding day and see how things are going. They had an awesome planner that was piecing together everything for their wedding day. As things turned out, everything that we had hoped to happen on the wedding day didn’t go as planned. That’s okay though. We were able to make it work and we were able to make things happen.

The day started like any other wedding day. The bride was getting ready with her bridesmaids in a hotel room. Marta and I grabbed the details and started photographing them while she was getting ready. They got ready at the Westin in Lake Mary. It was definitely good times. Things were going according to schedule. In fact, I remember talking to Marta about how we were actually ahead of schedule. As we headed out into the lobby, we saw that the limousine was at the hotel early. Everything was running super smooth, which is one of the benefits of having an experienced wedding planner.

Quick Side Note. Before I get into the hiccup, I want to give a pretense as to how things went down. Stephanie and Andrew reached out to us about a week before the wedding asking what we thought about the timeline and wedding day. It was mid-December, so the sun was setting around 5:30-ish. I remember getting a text message from Stephanie and Andrew. They were talking to us about their concerns with the time the sunset and their portraits at their Bramble Tree Estate Wedding. We fully expected for what happened to happen. Marta and I just didn’t expect that level of darkness.

Back to their Bramble Tree Estate Wedding day. Things were running smoothly. We went to the Annunciation Catholic Church and photographed Stephanie waiting and Andrew getting ready as quickly as possible (the guys ran late). Everything after that ran smoothly. The ceremony took a little longer than anticipated, which was fine. We thought we would make up for it during the formals. We did them as fast as possible.

Traffic from the Church to Bramble Tree Estate wasn’t bad at all. We drove through I-4 and we didn’t have too much of a problem. The issue was that once we got there, it was completely and totally dark. The photograph of the tent with the almost completely dark sky was the first thing that we photographed when we go to the Bramble Tree Estate Wedding.

We did a couple of night time wedding portraits at Bramble Tree, but in the end, we scheduled a time and place to meet back together and take some post wedding portraits in better light. I immediately fell in love with the idea. I love post wedding sessions!

We photographed the reception and had a great time doing it. The food was delicious. Marta and I loved the atmosphere there. The feels were all over the place. Emotions were high. The DJ was playing great music. We prepared for the grand exit. I’m pretty sure I burned myself on the way down.

Marta and I drove home that night after the Bramble Tree Estate wedding on an adrenaline high like no other. In one awesome night, it became one of our favorite wedding venues. We had such a great time with these two. Marta and I were looking forward to the post wedding session. We had already worked with Stephanie and Andrew during their engagement session and as models for a styled shoot. We had enough experience working together that their post wedding session would flow with ease. Check out the images below.
