Outdoor Garden Wedding | Katey & Magdiel | Sneak Peek

This outdoor garden wedding was such a smooth day.  Katey and Magdiel were such an easygoing couple.  Marta hadn’t met these two at all beforehand, but I made it a point to talk to them and get to know them before their big day came about.  When we got to the Bok Tower Wedding, things ran smoothly.  Everything was where it needed to be and we were all running on schedule.  The only hiccup was a boutonniere incident that happened with enough time to fix it without any issues.

It was a morning outdoor garden wedding, which we’ve done brunch weddings in the past, but this one was different.  There was something that was simply warm.  In the wedding guest, there was a good chunk of people that flew in from the midwest for this wedding.  There were so much emotion and love.  I couldn’t help but feel for these two.  The lengths of which they went to describe their love was something that Marta and I couldn’t help but relate to.  Katey read her vows in Spanish, which was a complete and total surprise to us and everyone else that was there.

Afterward, we went to the Capernaum Lakeside Lodge for their reception, which had delicious catering by the chef’s onsite.  After the Bok Tower Wedding, it seemed very natural to head over the Capernaum Lakeside.    Once everything was said and done, there were some formal portraits that were taken.  A little cake came quickly following that.  I have to say that all in all it was a smooth day.  Marta and I were having a very relaxed day at their wedding.  Katey and Magdiel had a very easygoing approach to their whole day.  Can’t wait to deliver these images to them.
