As many people know, we showcase a lot of our real weddings and a modern candid engagement session or two in our booths at wedding expos. Last week we asked the questions: Should you have an engagement session? We went deep into it and talked about why you should really consider having it and why we think it’s so important.
Marta and I were participating in the Florida Wedding Expo earlier this year and we met this couple in the midst of the craziness. Immediately there was this connection over their wedding venue, The Capen House. It was a quick interaction, but I we had a good time. I didn’t meet Bryan until our consultation over coffee.
“Their Modern Candid Engagement Session was full of genuine laughter and love.”
From the beginning, I could tell that they were going to be a fun couple to work with. We talked about their ideas for their wedding day and what they had in mind for their modern candid engagement session. That same day, I had another meeting with another couple for the same exact day. It was a tad bit awkward telling both couples that there was another couple interested in the same date, but it happens.
That same day, Grace and Bryan put down a retainer with us after I left the other couples meeting. We started talking about their engagement session locations almost immediately. They decided to go to Rollins College to have their session and it was awesome. We’ve photographed couples there in the past, so I knew where to take them. There were a lot of things happening that Saturday at Rollins College, but it all came together beautifully.
We walked around the campus and talked about their wedding. They let me know that they hired Christy from Anna Christine Events, which is awesome! Marta and I can’t wait for their wedding. It’s going to be awesome! Check out this modern candid engagement session at Rollins College.
