When Marta and I started talking to our friends about this Paris France Destination Wedding, people were stoked. I knew that we were going to go to Europe for the summer already, especially after last summer. It was natural for us to talk to couples getting married in Europe. Once the tickets were purchased, we knew that we would photograph couples wherever we saw inspiration. We both made sure that we’d have plenty of time with each couple.
When we arrived in Paris, we had no idea of how hot it was going to get. Apparently, France was in the middle of a heatwave. We were closely watching the weather for the wedding day.
The Paris France Destination Wedding came quicker than we thought. We went to check it out the day before on Thursday just to see what we were going to be working with. It’s a private residence, so there weren’t any pictures or information online. We looked around and talked to the owner about the history of his house.
“The private residence was the perfect venue for this Paris France Destination Wedding.”
The house used to belong to his dad, who was an artist. His name was Robert Wehrlin. Paintings and sketches filled every corner in the home. Marta and I were in awe of the sheer amount of character that this house had. It was the perfect backdrop for this Paris France Destination Wedding.
While we were walking around, the owner gave us a tour of the home. We were able to look around and see all sorts of spots that would be great for epic photographs in and around the home. While we were downloading and backing up the images, we saw a couple of images from the wedding day that just stood out. These are some of our favorites from this Paris France Destination Wedding.
