Woodsy Park Engagement Session | Gayle & Stefan

Gayle and Stefan met us at a Wedding Expo.  Like most couples, we met up for some coffee and talked about their wedding day during a consultation.  It felt right from the moment that we started talking.  Usually, I like to go off of my gut when it comes to meeting people.  When we started talking about their woodsy park engagement session ideas, it seemed like we were onto something.

Their Woodsy Park Engagement Session in Dickson Azalea

Out of all of the engagement session locations that we go to frequently, Gayle and Stefan chose Dickson Azalea.  They were spot on in picking this spot for their Together Session.  There was a little bit of damage from the hurricane that just went through, but overall we could access the majority of the park.  Once we walked and photographed them through the park, we walked right across the street to the Carl T. Langford Park.

We took some photos at the bridge and around the park, but overall, we just hung out.  I learned so much more about them.  I talked to them about the wedding process and how things were going for them.  We talked about whether or not they were having a wedding planner or coordinator.  They talked to me about what was going on with them and their lives.  It was seriously an awesome experience.

By the time things started to wind down, we started to lose light.  It was cloudy overall, but we still got some really emotional shots.

Marta and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at Dubsdread next year.  Their style and wedding ideas along are going to be all sorts of awesome.  With a heavy emphasis on books and reading, their wedding is going to be one to remember.  Can’t wait!  For now, check out their photos from their woodsy park engagement session.
