Navy, Marsala & Gold Luxury Wedding at Grande Lakes

Alyssa and Steven are one of those couples that put so much work and effort into their wedding day. From the beginning, Marta and I knew that their luxury wedding at Grande Lakes was going to be epic. Their choice for their wedding venue, the Ritz Carlton, was a perfect match for what they were striving for.

When we first met Alyssa, we could tell that she loved the idea of our wedding process and how we get great photos. We talked about their style and what they had in mind for their wedding day during our photography consultation. We got a good idea of who they are as a couple and how they grew together.

Planning their Luxury Wedding at Grande Lakes

Blush by Brandee Gaar’s Kristen was able to put all of the ideas and concepts that Alyssa and Steven had and make that a reality. Their team worked quickly and efficiently. They pulled together everything on the wedding day in order to keep things running smooth and effortlessly. Without a doubt, they knew how to plan and coordinate a luxury wedding at Grande Lakes. This, among many other reasons, is why we love working with wedding planners.

Alyssa and Steven’s first look was a moment that was beyond beautiful. Alyssa slowly walked down the steps of the spiral staircase in the citrus garden as Steven waited at the bottom. You could feel the tension arise as she inched closer and closer. Without a moment’s hesitation, she reached out and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around in awe, adoration, and love.

It’s hard to put into words the pure joy that was felt at that moment. Both had tears of joy streaming down their faces as they embraced each other. You could tell that both felt a sort of relief as the stress and anxiety that had been building up all day seemed to melt away.

Afterwards, Marta and I took them around for a few portraits around the gardens before starting their family formals. We kept the timeline going. Their unplugged wedding ceremony was right on schedule.

A First Dance and Reception Like No Other

To be 100% honest, Marta and I aren’t sure how many people knew about their first dance. Alyssa and Steven reached out to us a few months before the wedding letting us know that they were working on a choreographed first dance. They sent us a private YouTube video of them rehearsing their dance just after they mastered the dance.

Needless to say, we were beyond belief stoked! Marta and I looked at each other looking at what was probably the best first dance that we’ve had all year. We knew that we had to nail everything when it came to the first dance for their luxury wedding at Grande Lakes.

The cheers and applause that these two got during their dance were heard down the hall. It was such an epic dance. Afterwards, they kept the party going. Jim from FyerFly knew exactly what he needed to play in order to keep the party jumping. There were so many favorite hits that were going on. Alyssa and Steven loved every second of it.

Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Grand Exit

Their grand exit came a heck of a lot faster than we imagined. Before we knew it, Jim let everyone know that the last dance was coming up. We were so surprised when the last dance came around. After we said our goodbyes and congratulated the two, we ran outside and photographed their grand exit. They ran into their car and left the party.
