Plantation Style Wedding in Winter Springs, FL | Laura and Brett

When I sat down to talk with both Laura and Brett, one thing was apparent.  These two were meant for each other.  Laura’s mom was there during the consultation.  We were able to click over coffee.  The more we talked about their plantation style wedding, the more I fell in love with it.  When I got home and talked to Marta about it, she was in love with the idea of their wedding theme.

Planning their Plantation Style Wedding

After Laura and Brett signed their wedding agreement, we went through a couple of things with our photography process.  They started talking about their Together Session to see more or less what it was that they had in mind for their session location.  From there we met up and started photographing them at their engagement session location.

While we were photographing them, we talked about how the planning was going.  We talked about all sorts of wedding details and what we were planning on doing in order to get the best images on the wedding day.

Their Wedding Day in Winter Springs, FL

On the day of the wedding, Marta and I got to the church that they were getting married at a little bit before they got there.  It was such a beautiful day!  The sun was shining and there were a few clouds that were in the sky, but overall this was the perfect day for a wedding.

As everyone started to come into the church, people started the processional and it couldn’t have gone more perfectly.  Once everything was said and done, we took a few family formals and headed straight to Tuscawilla Country Club to start photographing the wedding party as well as Laura and Brett.

Tuscawilla was really good at providing us a Golf Cart and letting us know where to go in order to get epic portraits for their plantation style wedding.  At the end of the day, we had a blast photographing these two all across the country club.

Their reception was full of so much love and happiness.  Friends and family came from all over the US to see these two tie the knot.  Marta and I loved every second of it.

The DJ played some awesome songs that got everyone onto the dance floor.  It was overall such an amazingly fun time!  After hours of dancing and singing, they finished the night with their sparkler grand exit.  Check out their wedding photos below and let us know what you think in the comments.
