When Alina first messaged Marta and me, we were immediately in love with the concept of their romantic elopement at Gaylord Palms. It was ten people total. That’s it. No one else was needed. All they wanted to do was to keep their friends and family that mattered most close to them. It was perfect for a destination elopement.
They chose Gaylord Palms for multiple reasons, but it was perfect on the day of the elopement. It was comfortable and not muggy. We didn’t have to worry about the weather. It was cool and comfortable. We took portraits inside and outside. We were weaving in and around crowds that were staying at the resort for the holidays.
Ashley & Alina’s Romantic Elopement
There was a bunch of kids that were staying at the hotel, so there was laughter and cheerfulness everywhere. We were walking around and people kept on stopping by to congratulate the two. It was so awesome. I told them, “Don’t worry. You’ll be getting that a lot today.”
It was so sweet to see the genuine, raw passion between these two. Their story touched me. They had such stories to tell about getting to where they were in their relationship, but it made their big day that much sweeter. Their elopement photos were that much better because of it all.
This intimate, romantic elopement was so sincere. Their vows gave everyone in the room chills as they read them aloud. Some of the men could barely speak without holding tears back. It was just super emotional and it was a room full of happiness and emotion. The ambiance was definitely there to be felt.
Seeing their tears of joy as well as their families made me realize how lucky we all are to find someone that truly gets you and understands you. Check out the romantic elopement pictures from their wedding at Gaylord Palms. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
