Vanessa and Andres had reached out to us about a year ago and were really adamant about the architecture and feel of the images that we took. When we started talking during their consultation, we talked about what they wanted in their images. We talked about what their goals were with their Together Session and their wedding day overall. I learned a little bit about them and what brought them to marriage and how Andres proposed. All of it leading up to their Blush & Ivory Wedding at Casa Feliz.
Leading up to their Wedding at Casa Feliz
When it came to planning their wedding day, I’d always recommend a wedding planner just to keep things running smoothly. That being said, we know when to have a wedding ceremony and how to get the best wedding photos from your wedding day. They reached out about a month or so before the wedding date just to talk logistics, time, and what was a good flow for the day (based on our past experience). Obviously, Marta and I are not by any means wedding planners. We simply commented on what we imagined a good wedding timeline would be.
Vanessa and Andres’s Blush & Ivory Wedding at Casa Feliz
On the day of the wedding, we went to their church photographed an awesome ceremony and then went almost straight to Casa Feliz. Time was of the essence, to say the least. We got there just before the cake arrived and started photographing anything and everything that we could in order to make sure that we captured it all before guests arrived.
The decor was amazingly on point, especially for a destination wedding that was planned all the way from Chicago. Everything came together exactly the way that Vanessa and Andres saw their vision in their minds. With plenty of tears and joy, the night started on the right note and continued throughout the rest of the night. They did a bubble exit at the end of the night before continuing the party on Park Ave. Check out their pictures below from blush & ivory wedding.
