Samantha and Nick reached out to us after running into our site online. We were in the middle of the busy season about ten months ago. We were getting things going for our Spring season. In the end, they booked us for their wedding date after we talked for a bit. We learned a lot about their outdoor woodsy wedding at Gleason Park and what they planned with their wedding planner.
Planning their Outdoor Woodsy Wedding Day
Their Together Session in Rollins College was gorgeous. There were so many places to chose from for their engagement session, so I’m definitely glad they went with Rollins. It definitely fit them with the feel of Old Florida. It also gave us a chance to get to know each other a little better and talk about what they had in mind for their big day.
When leading up to their wedding day, we sent a couple of emails to each other covering different aspects of the wedding day. We asked through questionnaires about more details on their outdoor woodsy wedding. We knew that the drive over to Indian Harbour Beach for their big day was going to be a bit tough, but in the end, it all worked out beautifully.
Samantha and Nick’s Indian Harbour Beach Wedding
When we got there, their families were so sweet. Samantha’s mom was so sincere and kind. She and her husband ensured that everything that her daughter wanted for her big day happened. There were so many small stories and nods to their history together as a family.
The day was totally gorgeous. The weather was perfect for their outdoor woodsy wedding. It was right around that time when the sun started to set a little earlier and the days started to get cooler. Charles (Samantha’s Dad) seeing Samantha for the first was so unrelentingly pure. The love that he has for his daughter was only something a parent could understand. The ceremony practically went flawlessly.
We went through family formals so quickly to save time. With just a few minutes with the sun setting, we went into work mode and took a variety of portraits before they headed back for the cocktail hour and the reception. The feel of their outdoor woodsy wedding was captured in full swing in their portraits.
Samantha and Nick’s Wedding Reception at Gleason Park
Surrounded by friends and family, these two were introduced and started right out with their first dance. Charles had a sweet speech for everyone there to witness and receive. Their Maid of Honor and Best Man did their best to honor the newlyweds.
After some food, some delicious cake, and a bunch of dancing, Samantha and Nick had an awesome last dance. Everyone was waiting for them to come out to and send them off with a sparkler grand exit.
The tears and smiles that everyone had for these two were so amazing. The entire was so full and warm with the amount of love that was seen from everyone. Here’s a little sneak peek into how their outdoor woodsy wedding day looked. Cheers to Samantha and Nick!
