Alycia reached out to us shortly after Aiden proposed to her. She’s the main point of contact at Cocktails Catering, which we work with a lot. First off, let me just say how honored we are that someone in the industry wants us to photograph their wedding. It’s always humbling when someone that knows the in’s and out’s of the wedding industry chooses us to photograph their big day. After tossing around some ideas for engagement session locations, we finally chose downtown Orlando. They talked to us about having a romantic engagement session that had both a natural and urban feel to the images.
Alycia & Aiden’s Romantic Engagement Session
Throughout the session, we talked a lot about their wedding plans at Paradise Cove and how it was going. Their friend Parker was also coming along and was helping out throughout their session. We walked around Downtown Orlando. Although the day was chilly, we were able to get some pretty epic engagement photos throughout the city.
When we started realizing that the day was ending, we decided to finally head to the Balcony Orlando for some cityscape portraits and photos. The wind up there took their Together Session to a completely different level. The portraits from their romantic engagement session were something that you’d see in a magazine or some sort of advertising. Everything flowed beautifully and this was one of our favorite engagement sessions of the first half of the year. All of the different backdrops and multiple locations made for a diverse gallery to send them.
Marta and I can’t wait for their big day at Paradise Cove. It’s just right around the corner. Check out Alycia and Aiden’s romantic engagement session photos below. Loved walking around downtown Orlando with you all. If you share these, don’t forget to use #nurban.
