Beautiful Multicultural Brazilian Wedding at Paradise Cove Orlando | Madison & Kauan

ORLANDO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS AND VIDEOGRAPHERS | Paradise Cove Orlando

Let’s be honest for a second. Marta and I work a lot at Paradise Cove Orlando. We’re on their preferred vendors list, and we both photograph and film a bunch of couples there. Because of that, we see everything there. And from time to time, we see couples that really go above and beyond. That’s exactly what we saw at Madison and Kauan’s beautiful multicultural Brazilian wedding at Paradise Cove.

Rain Couldn’t Keep Their Multiculture Brazilian Wedding from Happening

I think the biggest thing during a wedding day that I notice is exactly how everyone interacts BEFORE the ceremony. Marta and I both look around and pay attention to the personalities of everyone and each group’s “dynamics”. And on a high-strung event like getting married, certain traits come out. This is where we see bridezillas and groom-zillas come out in full swing. And nothing makes those traits come out like having a wedding ceremony rushed because of the oncoming rain. And I would 100% expect anyone and everyone to lose it when that happens, but the way Madison and Kauan handled the rain was so gracious.

Swapping the Wedding Ceremony For Cocktail Hour

But I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself. See, Marta and I both saw that for this multicultural Brazilian wedding to go without a hitch, we would have to have the ceremony at the right time. The bride’s dad didn’t want to go with plan B, so they decided to swap the ceremony time with the cocktail hour. Now, when guests arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted with an open bar for an hour. This was all to buy time to let that classic afternoon Florida rain pass by and let these two get married.

Finally, we got to the ceremony time. And the percentage of rain was showing 20%, so we went for it. The ceremony started without a hitch, despite the cloud coverage. But just as things were about to get started, Marta, our videographers, and I heard the wall of rain coming across the lake and towards the couple. Yes, the ceremony was rushed. The officiant saw what was going on and skipped all the way to the end, pronouncing them married. Despite all of that, we all headed back to the bridal suite and tried to avoid the rain.

Take Two on their Multicultural Brazilian Wedding

Madison and Kauan were both holding their own. They were overjoyed at the fact that they got married, but Madison still wanted to have her wedding ceremony be exactly what she had envisioned. The team at Paradise Cove did all they could to get everything just as it was before. They got towels and started drying chairs, wiping water from the aisle, and getting friends and family back to the ceremony site to start it all over again.

And with tears in their eyes, Madison and Kauan read their vows to each other and tied the knot in front of their loved ones. Madison, in particular, learned enough Portuguese to surprise everyone there. Everyone was taken aback by the gesture.

From Rain Drenched Tears to Dancing

The rest of the day was as good a day as it could get. No more rain. No more crazy wind. It was absolutely perfect for these two, and I (as well as Marta) couldn’t have asked for a better reception. And let me just say, everyone had a great time all the way until the end of it all. Congrats to Madison and Kauan!
