Vintage Travel Wedding at The Howey Mansion | Arielle & James

ORLANDO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS | THE HOWEY MANSION

There are some weddings that are inspired by others, and then there are some that are inspirational. Almost every single detail that was put into this vintage travel wedding at The Howey Mansion was decided by Arielle and James…but mostly Arielle. She’s had a vision for the entirety of the wedding day since we started working together. I remember photographing their engagement session, and we were going over the details of the day. The inspiration, the colors, and everything just worked.

The Vintage Travel Wedding Inspiration

One of the main things that I remember Arielle saying during the Together Session that we had was that she was planning everything. Of course, I remember them having an awesome wedding planning team. But it all came together under Arielle’s vision. I remember reading her Wedding Questionnaire before the wedding day. When I read it, I noticed that Arielle said she wanted to incorporate the style of the venue into the theme. I personally think it fits beautifully. I noticed touches of that style, but with their own personal twist.
One big thing that they did that we loved was that they didn’t provide a Pinterest Board. Instead, they gave us a Style Guide. I think that these were all sent to the wedding party and guests who attended their wedding. But this definitely helped us really understand the vibe they were going for with their vintage travel wedding theme.

The Wedding Coming Together at The Howey Mansion

On the day of the wedding, it felt like any other for us. But when we came in, we saw that this vintage travel wedding was completely unlike anything we’ve ever photographed. And the family and friends that were there fit perfectly into the vintage travel wedding theme that Arielle and James had cooked up.

I noticed that there were details and touches from previous generations. We both loved that Arielle used her mom’s veil and “borrowed” her earrings.
As the day progressed, we saw more and more touches of humor, love, and admiration from friends and family.

I remember photographing the “Vanity Fair” styled portrait that Arielle and James both wanted. When Marta and I ended up getting to that portion of the day, Arielle knew exactly what she wanted out of things.

We absolutely loved our time there and wish these two many years of love and happiness. I know for a fact that this vintage travel wedding at The Howey Mansion was exactly what they wanted.
