The first time that Marta and I went to photograph one of the Hidden Barn Venue Weddings, we were so surprised. The pictures that are online don’t really do it justice. There are so many corners in this place that it’s very, very easy to find a new take or a new angle for wedding portraits. It’s almost a little overwhelming at first because there are so many opportunities for really amazing photos.

If you want it to be, this can be a one-stop-shop for your wedding day. The getting ready location is perfect, there’s a spot for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception. All of this is within walking distance. There’s plenty of parking for all of your friends and family.

The owners are some of the sweetest people that we’ve ever met. They truly want to make sure that you have an amazing experience on your wedding day and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that you do so.

Insider Info on The Hidden Barn Venue

Last time that we talked to the owner, they had just finished purchasing the land next to the wedding venue. They wanted to go ahead and begin expansion to add even more terrain, decor, and photo opportunities to the property. The place is already pretty huge, so we’re excited to see that they’re expanding and growing.

Things to Keep in Mind

The Hidden Barn Venue is somewhat in the middle of nowhere. The first that we got there, we went down a dirt road in the middle of the day. Still, I had to question whether or not Google Maps was taking us to the right location. It was one of those roads that you see in a horror movie before some crazy stuff happens, but rest assured we ended up in the right location.

The main reception area is indoors, so you don’t have to worry about renting a tent at all unless you’re having a large guest count. As far as we know, you can rent the getting ready house for the night, but that may have changed. It’s worth checking out so you don’t have to worry about driving. There was access to two bedrooms, a spacious living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms.
