Historic Dubsdread weddings can be summed up as a golf course with enough variety to make every corner look a little different. Located right in the heart of College Park, the sun peeks in through trees as the sun sets in the afternoon. The inside is full of character and charm.
Why we love Historic Dubsdread Weddings
There’s a lot to love about Dubsdread. The amount of character that’s in each corner is above everything else. The giant oak tree where you can get married is beautiful, and the ceremony site is gorgeous on its own. Add some decor and details and things go to the next level. The surrounding spots are great for portraits and have the ability to feel unlike anything else in the area.
Insider Info on Historic Dusdread Weddings
The bridal getting ready room is small and has just enough space for probably 3 people at max. Also, keep in mind that the getting ready room is in between the main area and the women’s restroom, so you’ll have people coming in and out while you’re getting ready. The groom’s getting ready room is the “board room” and is much more spacious. Overall, we’d recommend getting a hotel room close by to get ready before heading over.
Things to Keep in Mind
As far as we know, the golf course is still open during your wedding, so there will be people driving around hitting golf balls. It’s something to consider when taking portraits around the property. They offer their own (and delicious!) catering at Dubsdread, which allows for ease of use. I’m pretty sure you have to go through them for catering though, but their food has always been good and their kitchen is right there if you have to have something fixed.
