White Rock Canyon is a wedding venue that completely shatters the idea of what a “Florida wedding” looks like. Located in Bushnell, it feels like you’ve been transported to a limestone quarry in Greece or the Southwest. There is a sense of awe as you drive through the tunnel entrance and see the massive white cliffs rising out of the water. When Marta and I first visited, we were immediately welcomed by the team who were ready with golf carts to zip us around the massive property. They are incredibly pro-active in helping vendors navigate the terrain, which is a huge plus when you are hauling gear across a quarry!

Why We Love Weddings at White Rock Canyon

Like I said before, the logistics here are surprisingly smooth for such a rugged location. The venue provides carts to get our equipment (and the couple) to the best photo spots without breaking a sweat. On the wedding side of things, this place is a photographer’s dream. The white limestone cliffs act as giant natural reflectors, filling every photo with beautiful, soft light. Marta and I love taking portraits down by the water or inside the iconic tunnel entrance—it’s moody and dramatic. The indoor reception space is a massive industrial “blank canvas” with high ceilings that allow for epic wide shots. The getting-ready spaces are separate and private. The bridal suite is spacious with great window light, while the groom’s area is relaxed and comfortable. Both spots keep the couple hidden but close to the action.
