CFBA | The Central Florida Bridal Association | Rudy & Marta

Marta and I have been photographing weddings for quite some time.  Our adventures have taken to all sorts of weddings.  From the extravagant to the intimate, all weddings have one thing in common.  That’s the love and trust given to the wedding vendors that are working the day of the wedding.  The Central Florida Bridal Association, or CFBA, is one of the many ways that we’re going to further help our couples.  I always go to these networking events, meet up with people in the industry, and talk.  That’s it, we talk, we mingle, we build trust.  I’m sure anyone that’s spoken with us in the past has heard us multiple times say that we’re all about making sure that our couples feel comfortable.  When we refer one of our couples to a vendor, it’s a signing off on saying that we trust this person.  Something saying that we trust what they’ve been doing with past weddings.  We trust them enough to send you their way.

“The Central Florida Bridal Association, or CFBA, is one of the many ways that we’re going to further help our couples.”

The premise behind the CFBA is that we’re a community.  A warm community.  A group of vendors that are willing to work together in order to bring the best wedding experience possible.  All of that is catered towards our couples in getting and delivering the best experience possible.  The luxury experience?  Sure.  Want something more intimate and down to earth?  No problem.  It’s all catered towards the couple in making sure that they get the wedding of their dreams.

Discovering this group of vendors was something that kind of happened by accident.  Molly from Cloud9 mentioned the CFBA during our first conversation.  I tried to make it a point to go to the meetings, but missed out on the first couple of meetings.  September we made it a point to go.  Claire Pacelli was supposed to be talking about Social Media and how it’s affecting the industry.  Marta and I both felt that it was a good opportunity to meet people in the industry and make some new friends.  We came with check in hand in order to make it a point to show that we were serious about being members of the association.  We realized that we hadn’t been there for two meetings, which was a requirement for anyone that wanted to join.  So we waited.  We went to the next meeting in October, introduced ourselves to everyone at the association, made some new friends, and saw some old ones.  All in all, it was an awesome time that was full of laughter and storytelling.

“Marta and I were driving when we got the message from Zhay.  We had to stop and give ourselves a high five!”

In between meetings, we got word from Zhay Robles (Orlando Social Guy) that we were going to be the fourth photographers in the member directory on the CFBA website.  Marta and I were driving when we got the message from Zhay.  We had to stop and give ourselves a high five!  We’re so excited to be members of the CFBA and their community of trusted vendors.  Many of the couples that we’ve worked with in the past have always found us by referral, whether it be by our friends, past clients, or find us online.  I’m happy to say that we’ll be working next to an extraordinary group of vendors.  We’re very excited and can’t wait to see what’ll happen on the horizon.
