Here I am. Just getting home and in my house. I’m in bed sitting next to Marta and we’re both talking about life. We’re talking about what’s coming and what’s happened. I slowly scroll through my Instagram feed and I slowly start to realize the amazing art that is out there. There are plenty of friends that I follow that I’ve been following since high school and college. Many people that I have met along the way through life.

My Instagram feed is something that I see as art and inspiration. Yeah, I’ll find a couple of Ice Bucket Challenges and random findings here and there, but sometimes all it takes is an image in order to get some sort of inspiration. That’s all it takes to spark an idea. Marta can go ahead and tell you all about how my mind works. She sees it first hand on many occasions.

Tonight though, as we lounge in bed, I scroll through my feed and realize that there are so many beautiful things out there in the world. My Instagram feed inspires me. I just can’t help but repeat myself. There are so many great artist out there that are kind enough to share their work through Instagram.
I turn around and look at what I’ve created in this world and I realize that there is so much more I can do. There’s so much more I can improve, work, and strive for. There’s so much more that I can grow.
I’m not a religious man by any means. I was raised Catholic. I can say without a doubt that I am blessed. I am so fortunate to have such great people in my life. I am so fortunate to have such amazing friends and family. I’m so fortunate that they support my work and are able to make it to these events that I have and all of the crazy things that I do. I’m lucky that my dad listens to me and helps me attain my goals. I’m lucky that I still have a father with me. I’m lucky to have an amazing wife that understand everything that I say alongside with all of my quirks. I’m a pretty big nerd. I love being able to mess with tech and I’ll always be proud of the fact.

Instagram is a way to share what it is that I do and I love that. I like to share more than food. I will say that I love photographing my cats, but I’m sure other pet owners can relate. New horizons are in the foreground. Marta and I have set on a new adventure and I can’t wait to share it with you all. I can’t wait to be able to share it on Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Twitter…whatever. I’m just stoked for what’s to come. We’ve met some really cool people and we’re ready to grow together.
The love of my life is by my side. What more can a man ask for? I’m able to grow with her and do something that we’re both passionate about. I’d say that I’m pretty blessed.
I’ll post this around noon, but it’s definitely after midnight as I write this. Why do creatives get inspired at night?
