Harmony Golf Preserve | Venues | Rudy & Marta Photography

Before Etnita and Abe had mentioned the Harmony Golf Preserve, I hadn’t even heard of it.  Marta had heard of the venue.  She’s awesome when it comes to keeping track of things.  I’m more of the whimsical, let’s-make-it-up-as-we-go type of character.  Anyways, we started doing research on the wedding venue.  We started looking at the Harmony Golf Preserve website and started to look at what other photographers have done there and how we could go ahead and stand out. We spent the good portion of the free time we had before the week before their wedding trying to figure things out and where we wanted to be.

As the week dwindled down, the weather was set to be horrible.  I think there was a 90% chance of rain.  That chance started to get smaller as the day drew closer and closer.  Then, it hit a 0% chance of rain.  It was a gorgeous day.  It was a day that every couple wished they could have for their wedding.  Honestly, it was downright gorgeous.  It was perfect.  I think the last time we had a day like that was for Danny+Laura in September of 2013 at the Mackey House.  It was an amazing day in Georgia for them, but I digress.  Harmony Golf Preserve is it’s own beautiful venue that stands on it’s own all together.  The place is gorgeous.

When we got there, it was a comfortable 78 degrees.  It was a high of 81, but I don’t think it ever hit that.  As the day went on, we started to see more and more of the venue and what it had to offer.  One of the staff members helped us out and we were able to go to all the sweet spots around the venue without any issues.  She had a handy dandy golf cart that was able to take us everywhere and anywhere.  The beautiful thing about it is that we were able to see a lot of things that a lot of people never really get to go to unless they live there or they’re able to spend the entire day there.  Anyways,  here’s a couple of our favorite photographs that we captured over at Harmony Golf Preserve.
