Detail Photography | It’s all in the details! | Rudy & Marta

Last month we had the pleasure to photograph a lovely wedding of Heather and David’s. The bride planned the whole event herself – from finding an amazing venue to hand making all the details.  I was especially truly in awe of Heather’s attention to details. Let me tell you, we were so eager to document every little thing she made for her big day. The flowers were beautiful. Her blue wedding shoe with pearls on the heels? She attached them herself. Her awesomely puffy wedding gown was hanging on a personalized hanger. We also loved the tie clip that belonged to bride’s grandfather along with cuff links with groom’s initials.  Check out the detail photography!

I always ask the bride to prepare all these little things for me to photograph. We often find that in rush of a wedding day it’s the last thing on bride and groom’s mind. But these are also the details that make your wedding day special and we, as photographers, want to make sure you will remember every detail of your wedding day.

Honestly, it’s the Detail photography that makes things stand out.  Everyone will remember the main event.  It’ll be remembered the way that the light hit your bouquet, the way that your future husband folded his breast pocket square, the way your mother helped you into your gown, etc.  It’s all in the details.  Detail Photography is sometimes overlooked or not even attempted.  Marta and I appreciate everything that can come from a very detailed wedding.  Honestly, it’s the way that a lot of brides add that little mark on their day that screams them.  Detail photography will help capture that.  Detail Photography will help remember that in the decades to come.
