Central Florida has plenty of hidden gems, but none like The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Most of the time there are some people that look for venues that provide a unique feeling that invokes their wedding. There was a moment of awe when we first walked into the main area in the venue. The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs has a quaint and unique sense of the venue. When you walk in all you can think about is the possibilities in the garden. There’s an ample amount of room and space to have several types of events and weddings.
It seemed only natural that Keshia from Classic Celebrations and Molly from Cloud 9 Wedding Flowers choose this location to have their vintage themed styled shoot. There was a lot of effort and planning when it came to the execution of the entire concept behind their vision. The history of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs is unique and stands out on its own. A history that I wasn’t even aware of until I actually visited the venue. They’re continuously upgrading and renovating the location. They’re able to keep up with the time with their constant upgrades.
“The decor was accentuated in the midst of it all. There was a certain elegance there. The decor beautifully heightened the look and feel of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs.”
Keshia and Molly were able to take the venue and add a unique spin to it. The day of the shoot was muggy, cold, and rainy. The sun never really peaked out of the clouds to warm up the place. It started drizzling as we were setting up. It never really stopped drizzling. I really didn’t mind it in the end. It added an extra touch to the flowers that were on the table and decor. It added something imperfect to the perfect. Despite the rain, the venue looked beautiful in the drizzle and haze of the day. The decor was accentuated in the midst of it all. There was a certain elegance there. The decor beautifully heightened the look and feel of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Add all that with Sofelle Confections cupcakes, and you’re set. Check out what we were able to capture.
