A Paradise Cove Wedding is always amazing. There are so many things that go on in one wedding day. We’ve worked several times at Paradise Cove. Heck, one of our first weddings that we photographed was there. There is always something magical about the place. I mean don’t get me wrong, the little quips and quirks about the place are there. The groom coming in on a boat is always awesome. The bridal getting ready room being right next to the ceremony area is always a plus.

The cool thing is that every time that we do go to a Paradise Cove Wedding we always switch it up. There’s so many nooks and crannies that it seems like the place is constantly changing.
When Amanda and her mother talked to us about photographing this Paradise Cove Wedding it seemed like it was a no brainer. We talked about it and we were able to really get all of us on the same page. It was as if we clicked immediately. Their wedding day was no different.
After all the planning and all the discussing around this Paradise Cove Wedding, the day finally came. Honestly, it couldn’t have been a better day. The weather was beautiful. Before the ceremony, Elie was getting ready at a hotel across the lake, which was perfect. At the same time, Amanda was getting ready in the bridal room. I will say that it was a little weird getting there and having another ceremony there. Trying to get images of the dress outside while another ceremony is going on was less than great.

Shortly after the morning ceremony, the reception room started to get set up. Followed by the party favors and photo booth. Quickly, things got set up. The day passed by quickly.
After the awesome James Bond entrance Elie did on the boat, the ceremony passed quickly. The family formals happened. Finally, we got to the wedding portraits, and they were awesome! I’m glad that we had their engagement. It set them up for their wedding images. In all honesty, it was so easy to photograph them.
After the ceremony, Amanda and Elie lost all their anxiety and nervousness. They were simply a couple and they were together. They fell into their poses with such ease. We loved every second of it.
During the reception, there was this moment. Honestly, Marta and I aren’t 100% sure what happened. No one really told us the story behind the gesture. There was this boy that started singing. He was singing to both Amanda and Elie. Almost immediately, Amanda started crying. It was a great gesture. In the middle of singing, the boy started getting choked up. The rest of the people that were there started singing for him as he hugged both Amanda and Elie. It was an amazing moment.
After that, the rest of the night was smooth sailing. The party kept going. We left feeling like we really captured their wedding. Check it out.
