Vintage Bookworm Themed Wedding in College Park

Lindsey and Roger met us at the Florida Wedding Expo almost a year ago. It was awesome getting a chance to meet them there and talk to them a bit for their day. They reached after the show to talk more about their day and ended up booking us! Once we nailed down some details we talked about their big day and what they had planned. The whole idea of a vintage bookworm themed wedding sung to our hearts! Marta and I love the smell of books. Nothing in the world is quite like it.

Needless to say, their wedding day was awesome! The weather was a little humid at Leu Gardens for their wedding ceremony, but things started to cool down as the sun went down. These two were so infatuated with each other. The level of emotion that they had on their wedding day was so romantic and beautiful.

Their portraits were split between the grounds at Leu Gardens and the grounds at Dubsdread, but we wasted no time getting their formals done at Leu Gardens. The wedding party was quickly photographed and then everyone else headed to Dubsdread for cocktail hour. We had probably 10 minutes left of sunlight and we knocked out so many portraits in the time. We were happy that we were able to go to both Leu Gardens and Dubsdread for a variety of looks on their big day.

We were a little surprised with how much holiday decor was in the reception space, but it all worked out beautifully. It made sense with the time of year that it was. In the end, on the wedding day, everything looked amazing. There were so many people that joined these two in their celebration. Their families made it a point to make sure that they felt loved.
