Stacy and Armand | Maitland Art Center | Ceviche Reception

Stacy and Armand.  Where do I start? This was our final wedding of 2011.  We had plenty of other weddings, but this one was one of our favorites. And we are so excited to share it with you all because it was perfect. We loved every minute of it. Stacy is that kind of a person that you enjoy being around. Always making you smile. She made our job so much easier.  Stacy and Armand are one of those couples that just work.  They have a great story to their love and we were honored to be photographing them on their special day.

Couple words from our bride Stacy!

Most Memorable momentWalking down the aisle. I think that was the first moment that really made me recognize how special that day was. As my father was walking with me, surrounded by family and friends, looking at my amazing husband, I had a perfect view of what my future had in store for me.

Funniest Moment: After the makeup appointment, the girls and I made our way to the ceremony. As we were on the road, I noticed a limo in the lane to our right… I immediately texted Armand (that’s not bad luck, right?) to see if that limo was the boy’s limo – of course it was. So there I was, makeup applied, hair fully coiffed, ducking and weaving to stay out of site. I ended up putting the seat fully back in the car so I could lay flat to stay out of site. Ha!

My advice to future brides and groomsAlways remember that this is your day. Although getting married does not give you a hall pass to be bridezilla (groomzilla), always make sure you’re happy with the decisions that are being made. Ultimately, it is your wedding, these will be your pictures, your memories. Also, try to relax and enjoy the process. Don’t get caught up in the minutia – no one is going to notice or remember the paperweight of your invitations.

Anything you would change?I wouldn’t change a single thing! Everything was perfect.

Honeymoon?Armand and I wanted to save up for a bigger honeymoon, so we opted for a ‘mini-moon’ after the wedding. We went for a short week to Carmel, CA (Pebble Beach) and then to Lake Tahoe. We’re thinking a Europe trip for the big honeymoon – perhaps Italy and France? Mmm cheese, pasta, and pastries.

After all was said and done. Can you tell it was LOTS OF FUN???
