Peachtree House | Historical Venue | Orlando Wedding

Note: This beautiful venue has unfortunately closed since this was posted. If you love this vintage garden vibe, check out our weddings at The Garden Villa or Leu Gardens!

The Peachtree House.  When Marta and I first drove up to this house, the first word that came to mind was “Wow!”  Seriously, the pictures do not do this place justice, not even our words.  We had the pleasure of meeting Ashlie at the Winter Park Wedding Expo in Winter Park.  Ever since then, we’ve had the pleasure of seeing The Peachtree House in person several times to brainstorm about an upcoming styled shoot.  Every time we go, it seems that this historic estate becomes more beautiful.   Marta and I always find some new and charming detail.  We find a beautiful new view.  Another little niche of the venue that we missed.

What makes Peachtree House a unique venue is not only that it’s one of the most stunning examples of the historic architecture of Gamble Rodgers.  It is clearly evident that this lovely home is a place of true Southern Hospitality.

“If there’s one thing that I can say, it’s that this historic, architecturally magnificent venue [Peachtree House] has something that many places lack:  a warm, Southern hospitality.”

If there’s one thing that I can say, it’s that this historic, architecturally magnificent venue has something that many places lack:  a warm, Southern hospitality.  There’s a level of attention to detail that is thriving in The Peachtree House.  There’s a story here to be told.  The classic painted brick with chipped paint to the warm and wooden interiors that can be found.

The Peachtree House has character.  There are so many things that can be seen all around, from the fireplace outside to the lake view north lawn for the ceremonial area, that have a sort of hidden inner beauty that can’t be described.  The wedding venue has grandeur as well, which can’t be described in words or in pictures.  It’s something that needs to be seen in person.  The beautiful thing about this venue is that although it’s a large estate, it has an intimate, personal feel that is lovely for any-sized gathering and most especially, the celebration of love.

Do yourself a favor. If you’re going to have a wedding that is intimate on any level, then have it here.  Just visit the venue.  You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite spots in the Peachtree House.  The way that the light hits the location in the spot is freaking awesome!  Granted, it was midday when I took the shot, but still!  Imagine that place during the Golden Hour.
