Luxury Experience | Photography Tips | Rudy & Marta

A luxury experience is something that many companies out there try to implement.  Many people try to go ahead and make a difference in peoples experiences when their receiving their services or purchasing their products.  What makes something luxurious?  Is the luxury experience something that should be tied to just throwing a crap load of money to a company and calling it a day?  I would like to hope that there’s more to it.

“Here’s the thing though, the luxury experience is all there in the details.”

It’s all in the details.  There are so many companies that go out of their way in order to make something for themselves seem luxurious.  Some grand product or grand service that is unique or out of this world amazing.  Alas, it’s the little things that matter.  If I were at the Ritz, every single employee that works there would go out of their way to greet me and ask how my day is going.  I would be offered a bottle of water for waiting more than fifteen seconds for valet.  Complimentary?  Yes.  How much does it cost them?  Probably $0.15.  Here’s the thing though, the luxury experience is all there in the details.  People paying attention and making things happen.

One of the things that Marta and I try to do is to make sure that we aren’t just photographers.  We’re the experts that are there for almost everything.  We’ve been to more than one wedding.  How do we deliver the luxury experience in photography?  By doing everything else and photography.  I can tie a bowtie.  I can find a stitch.  Oddly enough, I even know how to bustle a dress.  This is something most men can’t say.  I can do numerous things, all while making sure that the bride and groom have everything that they need in order to have an awesome wedding day.  To have an awesome luxury experience.

“…we try to work closely with the coordinator in order to make sure that our couples have the best luxury experience ever.”

Are  we day of event coordinators?  No.  There’s so much that happens behind closed doors on a wedding day, especially a big budget one.  One might be crazy if they tried doing photography and day of event coordinating.  That being said, let me say that we try to work closely with the coordinator in order to make sure that our couples have the best luxury experience ever.

Next time that you have a bride and groom, make sure that you do little things to help.  Even if it’s something as simple as getting some water of a frappucino from Starbucks.  It’s a little bit of time and effort that can make the day that much better.  Both for you and your couples.  That’s the luxury experience.
