Macaron Love | Allison+Yaphet | Engagement | Rudy & Marta

Macaron love.  Something that was so subtle that day.  We met up in front of Starbucks and pretty much started from there.  There was a certain amount of love that was seen that day.  Yaphet and Allison have a unique story that is full of humor and honesty.  Both are things that can sometimes be hard to see through the haze of all the technology and noise that can drive us away from others.

Originally, we weren’t even thinking about going to the macaron shop (Le Macaron French Pastries) in Winter Park during the engagement session.  That wasn’t mentioned at all when we were talking about engagement session locations.  We were going to be meeting up at Barney’s Coffeeshop. That place is awesome if you haven’t gone.  Somewhere in the mix of it, we started talking about the area and the macaron shop came up.

Our journey took us to the Winter Park Farmers’ Market there and the train tracks.  We were able to simply hang out and see things as they were.  The perceived notion that they were our clients and we were their photographers disappeared.  It became a group of people hanging out and spending time together.  We eventually went from the Farmer’s Market to Le Macaron French Pastries and then headed to Casa Feliz to finish it off.  It was sincerely good times.

Yaphet is in the medical field and Allison is in education.  Though their story started out in an “adult outing” it has been on of uniqueness and love.  Together they’ve been together for years.  Growing together as friends and lovers.  We think it’s something precious when you share that with someone.  Something as simple and as joyful as a macaron.  Something that’s made with love.  That day, we each got a box filled with macarons.  We went all out and enjoyed our experience with them and the macarons.

We’ve already got a good chunk of their wedding day images done. We have the engagement images done and ready to show.  We’re going to share them on here as well.  Once they’re done, of course.  Now, excuse me.  All this talk of awesome desserts has given me a case of the munchies.
