Casual Engagement Session | Downtown Orlando | Massiel & Thomas

When I first met Massiel and Thomas, I was sick as a dog.  I don’t know what it was, but there was a bug that was going around in the wedding industry that everyone got.  It was something that I gave a heads up to when we had our initial wedding consultation.  We went for some coffee at Starbucks.  It was super chilly that day.  We met up and started talking about their wedding day.  The idea of having a casual engagement session in Downtown Orlando came naturally.  There were a few engagement session locations that we talked about, but Downtown Orlando kept on coming up.

Massiel and Thomas were sent to Marta and me from Anna Christine Events.  We love when couples work with a wedding planner.  It makes the entire wedding process so much easier.  Christy was already planning their wedding in Aloft Downtown, but they needed a wedding photographer.  As we continued to talk about their wedding day, I got a clearer picture in my head about what they had in mind.  It was clear for the both of us that we should move forward.  When it came to their engagement session, the prime spot for us was Lake Eola.

We tried to have the session during the middle of the week.  I knew that we would run into fewer people in Lake Eola around that time of the week.  We met up near the Publix across the street from Lake Eola and started walking around the lake.  Their casual engagement session started with such ease.  I can’t wait for their big day, the engagement session will make it so much easier during their wedding.  The weather was almost perfect.  It was a little humid, but that’s how it always is in Florida.  As we walked around, we talked a little more in detail about their wedding day.  I always like to find out how the wedding planning is going with our engaged couples.  It’s a good way to
