Ashley and Mike were a couple that was referred to us by Jennifer from Bella Sposa Events. We talked on the phone a few days after their initial inquiry. Over the phone, we talked about wedding inspiration and ideas that they had. We talked about natural photos full of greenery. Everything made sense when they were talking about their wedding venue, Paradise Cove. The outdoor beachy feel that they mentioned on the phone fits perfectly with the venue. Instantly, the idea of having a whimsical garden engagement session seemed perfect.
Planning of their Whimsical Garden Engagement Session
When we were talking about engagement session locations, Ashley and Mike had their eyes set on Bella Collina. The wedding venue has their own rules and regulations when it comes to engagement sessions there. Unfortunately, we had to go to another wedding venue. In comes Sydonie Mansion. I’m not sure what Ashley & Mike did, but the owners agreed to allow them to have their engagement session there. This was one of our last engagement sessions before we headed to Europe for the summer to photograph destination weddings. Needless to say, it was hot! It was the beginning of June and the humidity was set to 11.
Whimsical Garden Engagement Session at Sydonie Mansion
Sydonie Mansion was exactly what we had all hoped for when we started talking about it. Marta and I did a bit of research beforehand and found that this was probably the best thing that could have happened. We all made a little friend while we were there. A cat followed us around the entire time that we were there. This without a doubt was one of our favorite sessions to date. They were relaxed and easygoing. We took some epic engagement pictures in Sydonie Mansion’s garden. Check out some of the engagement photos below. Let us know what you think in the comments!
